Real Girl Belly Project: 75 Non-Photoshopped Bellies

Bellies. They are these lovely things that make a woman a woman (because you rarely hear “belly” when referring to a man).

Yet so many women abhor the curvature of their tummy. Many of us constantly wish for it to be flat and smooth, almost like a man’s (and some women will naturally have tummies like this, and that’s okay, too). But what about all the rest of the bellies out there – the ones have lumps and bumps, the ones that are gorgeously mountainous, the ones that hold scars from the birth of another human being?

Folds, flaps, and flatness all hold their own tremendous stories and beauty.

Real girls and their bellies are stepping up and demanding that love be given to the site of the “the second brain.” Don’t forget that this is where your intuition, your immunity, and your mood center hang out.

Check out this photo gallery full of beautiful, non-photoshopped bellies to get inspired about your own.
